Data Protection Matters

Data Protection Matters

Data Protection Operations (DPOps), alongside your DPO

Whether we serve as your DPO or your DPO is in-house, we run data protection with them day to day, in close collaboration with information security, legal and compliance: experts, methodology and Privacy Nexus.

You can start right now, for free, with our tools. And from there, we'll take you by the hand.

Our core service

Managed Privacy & DPO Services

The ongoing running of your privacy program: DPO services, regulatory guidance and operational oversight. We keep your records current, manage vendors and assessments, and follow every task through to closure, so privacy runs as part of daily operations rather than as a once-a-year effort.

  • Tasks with owners

Findings become tasks with an owner and a due date, followed through to closure.

  • Reporting to management

Regular reporting to management, in business language.

DPOps

Data Protection Operations

We run data protection day to day alongside your DPO, ours or in-house, in close collaboration with information security, legal and compliance.

  • Data mapping and classification

What personal data is collected, where it is stored, for what purpose, for how long, and who receives it.
  • Data subject rights

An operational process for access, correction and deletion requests, within the time the law sets.
  • Impact assessments (DPIA)

Reviewing new products, processes and vendors at the design stage.
  • Incident management

A procedure prepared in advance for handling an incident, notifying data subjects and reporting to the authorities.

Why now

Amendment 13 to Israel's Privacy Protection Law expanded the duty to appoint a data protection officer and gave the Privacy Protection Authority enforcement powers and administrative fines. The question is no longer whether to manage privacy, but how to prove it is managed.

One approach, three parts

How to start

Three steps

1

Readiness check

A conversation and an initial picture of where you stand.

2

Setup

Mapping, a gap review, rolling out Privacy Nexus, and a work plan presented to management.

3

Ongoing management

Monthly work, follow-up and evidence.

Questions from large organizations

Where does our data sit?

Privacy Nexus is designed to be installed locally, in the organization's own environment. The information, the database, the documents and the evidence are kept on infrastructure the organization controls.

Can we start with one part?

Yes: an assessment, a DPIA, training or advice to management, each on its own.

Israeli law and the GDPR together?

Yes. The same experts and the same methodology, for Israeli law and for the GDPR.
